Calafate and the Perito Moreno Glacier. Link to blog entry
The Los Glaciares National Park is divided into two parts. El Chalten, in the North, is famous for Fitzroy, Cerro Torre, Poincenot and other peaks. Calafate, in the South, has access to the incredible Perito Moreno glacier that tumbles into Lago Argentina, as well as Spegazzini, Upsala and Onelli glaciers. Both are definitely on the international trekker circuit, a bit overcrowded but the park is fabulous!
