Chichén Itzá influenced by the Toltecs (Map this!)
The bloodthirsty style of Chichén Itzá is reflected in jaguars and eagles holding human hearts, the deep cenote used for human sacrifice and large monuments made to intimidate. The grand pyramid with its feathered serpent displays special light and shadow effects during the equinox, for which people flock from everywhere to see.
